A series of stories from our LAS community.

When you choose a college to attend, you're also choosing a community. From the faculty that teach the courses you're interested in, to the students that start as classmates and become friends, down to the staff that support and guide you through your choices post graduation. atLAS is a collection of interviews and stories with the members of our community that build the fabric of UIC, sharing their unique perspectives from groups they've found belonging within to their favorite classes.

In a recent interview with Stories from atLAS she had much to reflect on regarding her time here. “As a historian, I want to inspire a collective love for history and hope that it helps others find meaningful paths to deep connections that inspire us all to aim for a better world.”
