Most Anticipated Feminist Books of 2025
Introduction
Congratulations to Elizabeth Todd-Breland of History, her co-authored book, "I Didn't Come Here to Lie: My Life and Education," has been named one of Ms. Magazine's "Most Anticipated Feminist Books of 2025"! 📚✨ Though not a memoir of Elizabeth herself, the book tells the powerful story of Chicago labor organizer Karen GJ Lewis. After Karen's passing in 2021, Elizabeth took on the monumental task of bringing Karen’s interviews and legacy to life in this co-authored memoir.
