About

Kiki Wessel is a Senior Academic Advisor for the Departments of Criminology, Law and Justice and Anthropology. She co-advises the Criminology, Law and Justice and Anthropology majors and minors as well as minors in Law and Society, Global Middle Eastern Studies and the Medical Humanities certificate.
Kiki has her bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati in Organizational Leadership - HR and a minor in Economics as well as a master's degree from the University of Iowa in Higher Education and Student Affairs. In addition to being a senior advisor, she is an LAS 110 instructor, works with the CHANCE Program on campus, and is part of the LAS professional committees for New Student Advising and Registration as well as Career Development and Internships.
Kiki has a passion for helping students make connections and build relationships within their departments and helping them realize their career goals and potential. She approaches advising through a collaborative approach with the student in the driver’s seat. Kiki ultimately wants students to feel empowered and confident to make decisions that work best for them throughout their college experience while knowing they have her support through it all.
