About
Eric joined UIC LAS in June 2022 as a general advisor and currently serves as a departmental advisor for biological sciences and neuroscience majors. Prior to his current role at UIC, he worked in higher education over the past eight years as an academic advisor for undergraduate engineering students in Boston and with international undergraduate students in New York City. He was also an ESL teacher for several years before he started advising students. He has lived in Vermont, Canada, Rhode Island, New York, Massachusetts, and now in Illinois. His interests outside of advising include skiing, studying Japanese, and traveling to Japan.
