About
Tasha Quinn is the Assistant Director of Departmental Advising within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She has been a dedicated member of the UIC community since November 2017, first serving as a General Academic Advisor before transitioning to a Departmental Advisor in the Psychology Department.
Originally from Minneapolis, MN, Tasha has called Chicago home for over 20 years. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from DePaul University, earning her the title of a "Double Demon." In addition to her advising role, she is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and is passionate about promoting mental wellness. She brings this passion into the classroom as an instructor for Abnormal Psychology (PSCH 270), where she engages students in discussions on psychological disorders and mental health.
Outside of work, Tasha enjoys cooking, rollerblading, and working on any creative crafts—always with good music in the background. She loves being part of the UIC community and part of a team so dedicated to student success.
