Laura Oliver is an Assistant Dean in LAS, but started her career at UIC on the medical side of the campus working in both the outpatient clinics and the hospital. In LAS, Laura is the primary Human Resources (HR) contact for 6 units within the College, completing all hiring processes for each unit and serves as a secondary College HR contact campus wide. She is also responsible for monitoring and managing the instructional budget for the College. Laura has served on multiple search committees and on various management teams for union negotiations. She received her B.S. in Marketing from Northeastern Illinois University and her MBA from UIC.
Laura is a huge Blackhawks fan!
