About
Sandra Lopez is the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Engagement of College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Student Academic Affairs at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). She is a two time alum of UIC, she holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in Sociology. She is a Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society and UIC ALPFA member. Previously she was the Vice President of the MBA Association.
In her current role, Sandra leads strategic enrollment initiatives for over 40 academic programs, utilizing data-driven approaches to enhance student engagement and academic success. Sandra brings over five years of experience in higher education, recruitment, and community engagement.
As a bilingual professional fluent in English and Spanish, Sandra is committed to fostering inclusivity and building strong connections with students and stakeholders. Sandra is passionate about advancing UIC’s mission of academic excellence and student empowerment.
