April is the Director of Departmental Advising in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at UIC and has been working with students in an advising capacity since 2012. April provides direct leadership and oversight to departmental advisors and advising initiatives in LAS.
Originally from Southeast Wisconsin, April earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater and a Master of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse.
