About
Beth Kravitz is a Senior Undergraduate Academic Advisor at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, where she specializes in advising Psychology majors. She has been a dedicated member of the UIC community since November 2017.
Originally from the western suburbs of Chicago, Beth spent the majority of her childhood in Jupiter, Florida, where she lived for 21 years. She earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Health Education and Behavior from the University of Florida. Beth is a Certified Health Education Specialist with a strong background in health sciences.
In addition to her advising role, Beth has significant experience in college-level instruction. She has taught courses in health and personal wellness, medical terminology, and currently serves as an instructor for LAS 110 – Experience UIC, a course designed for first-year students at UIC.
