Mark Cordero joined LAS Academic Advising in November 2021 and graduated with a Master's in Higher Education in May 2021 from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. Originally from Bloomington/Normal, IL (yay Midwest). Mark enjoys UIC due to its diverse population and having downtown Chicago in its backyard full of opportunities and experiences. Fun fact: Mark was a Drum Major for marching band and played the clarinet for 7 years.
