About
Richard Alpern, Associate Dean for Administration, manages the budget and human resources operations of the College. Richard started at UIC in 1996 in the College of Engineering and joined LAS in 2009. He obtained a BS in Accounting at Illinois State University, a JD at Depaul University, and an MBA at UIC. He is an avid sports fan and a life long resident of the Chicagoland area.
