About
Beth Allen is an Assistant Dean for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). She holds a B.A. from Indiana University and a M.A. in Cultural and Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Loyola University. Her career experiences in administration and lifelong learning span the Field Museum of Natural History, the Poetry Foundation, and over a decade at UIC. She is a contributing author to Blueprints: Brining Poetry into Communities (University of Utah Press) and a lifelong resident of the Chicagoland area.
