Professor Robert Kaestner Writes Opinion Piece in Chicago Sun-Times
Robert Kaestner, LAS Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Economics, recently wrote an October 13, 2015 opinion piece in the Chicago Sun-Times entitled “Obamacare a Job Killer? Not Likely,”
“The results of our analysis are unequivocal,” Kaestner writes, “There is no evidence that the ACA has adversely affected the size of the labor force or the number of people working. This finding applies not only to the ACA as a whole, but also when we separately look at the effect of the Medicaid expansions.”
