Professor of Anthropology Brian Baur receives NEH Award for Faculty

Congratulations to Professor Brian Bauer (UIC Anthropology) whose project “Fragments of History Blas Valera’s Historia Occidentialis: Reconstructing Blas Valera’s Lost Historia Occidentialis“ was awarded support by the NEH Award for Faculty Division. This award supports research and editing a critical edition of Blas Valera’s Historia Occidentialis (1596), a chronicle of Incan history. The NEH offers a variety of grant programs to individuals and organizations that do the highest quality work to promote the humanities.
