Professor Emeritus of MSCS Shmuel Friedland Selected as a 2021 SIAM Fellow
Shmuel Friedland, Professor Emeritus for Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science, has been selected as a 2021 SIAM Fellow, one of the highest honors of Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), in recognition of their deep and varied contributions to mathematics, especially linear algebra, matrix theory, and matrix computations.
