Professor Emerita Judith Kegan Gardiner Named Among TCW’s 100 Women of Inspiration
Today's Chicago Women magazine has named LAS professor emeritus of gender and women’s studies Judith Kegan Gardiner among their 2014 list of 100 Women of Inspiration. Dr. Gardiner is among the founders of the gender and women’s studies department in the UIC College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, in addition to serving as a long-time member of the editorial collective of the interdisciplinary journal, Feminist Studies. She has served as co-chair of the Chancellor's Committee on the Status of Women, as Interim Director of the Center for Research on Women and Gender, and as Director of GWS.
