Media Outlets Feature Professor Imke Meyer’s Insight on Rogue Transmission over Chicago Police Radio Channels
A Chicago Tribune article on a rogue transmission over Chicago Police radio channels features insight from Imke Meyer, UIC professor of Germanic studies and director of the School of Literatures, Cultural Studies and Linguistics. Meyer helped to translate some of the German language audio and identify it’s likely source as a Hitler speech in Leni Riefenstahl’s film, “Triumph of the Will.” https://trib.in/2KJfqZT (subscription may be required)
