LAS Student Lulu Martinez Interviewed on WBEZ Public Radio Program “Latino USA”
Issues of citizenship, immigration and belonging were addressed during a recent event presented by the UIC Latino Cultural Center and the Futuro Media Group, producer of National Public Radio's "Latino USA." The discussion brought together Maria Hinojosa, host of "Latino USA," and UIC student LulĂș MartĂnez, one of Chicago Magazine's 2013 "Chicagoans of the Year" and DREAM Act advocate.
