The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) hosted the LAS Faculty Research Symposium: “From Atoms to Astronomy–How materials impact the ways we understand matter over 25 length scales,” at the University of Illinois Chicago on Feb. 26th, 2025.

The event featured esteemed scholars from national institutions who spoke about their research to an audience of students, faculty, staff, and the Chicago community. This day-long event encouraged discussions that ranged from the micro to the macro aspects of physics.
