LAS Distinguished Professor Steve Jones Quoted in Denver Post Article About Starbucks Cup Selection
Steve Jones, UIC Distinguished Professor in the Department of Communication, was quoted in a November 15, 2015 Denver Post article written by the Associated Press’ Adam Geller entitled “Starbucks controversy: A tempest in a coffee cup?” The article addresses the supposed outrage over the coffee chain’s recent rollout of Holiday-themed plain red cups, and how the alleged anger might have been mostly bluster.
" ‘If I were a touch more cynical, and maybe I am, I'd think the one who is winning this war is, maybe, Starbucks,’ said Steve Jones.”
