LAS Assistant Professor Liza Suarez Quoted in Chicago Tribune Article on Gang-related Killing

Liza Suarez, LAS assistant professor of clinical psychology and co-director of the Urban Youth Trauma Center in UIC's Institute for Juvenile Research, is quoted in a November 7, 2015 Chicago Tribune article entitled “Tyshawn Lee's Killing Leaves Children Feeling all the More Vulnerable,” which profiles the the psychological impact of the recent, apparently gang-related slaying of 9-year-old Tyshawn Lee on his classmates and peers in his neighborhood.
