Kate Warpeha presents at the NASA HBCU/MSI Technology Infusion Road Tour

On April 20th, 2022 the NASA and Historically Black Colleges & Universities/Minority Serving Institutions Spring Technology Infusion Road Tour made a stop at UIC’s Forum to hear about relevant cutting edge research of UIC researchers. Katherine Warpeha, Associate Professor in Biological Sciences presented research on plant responses to radiations for future space exploration; and, NSF-funded research on plant defense improvement. Both projects featured data of many undergraduates, and current work of graduate students N. Dziedzic, and Y. Najjar.
