Chemist Leslie Aldrich Wins the 2021 ICBS Young Chemical Biologist Award
Dr. Leslie N. Aldrich has been selected as a recipient of the 2021 International Chemical Biology Society Young Chemical Biologist Award. Selection of the awardees is made on the basis of their “accomplishments, ground-breaking contributions to chemical biology, and promise as future leaders who will serve the chemical biology community”. “Dr. Aldrich was recognized for the development of new inhibitors and assay development for regulating protein-protein interactions involved in autophagy. She is also being recognized for her role as an emerging thought leader for characterizing chemical features of diversity-oriented synthesis libraries for biological diversity”. She will present her award lecture on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the ICBS 2021 Virtual Conference during the “Rising Stars” Session. Congratulations to Dr. Aldrich and the Aldrich Lab!
