During yesterday’s edition of “The 21st,” Illinois Public Media’s news talk show, Anna Guevarra, associate professor and director of Global Asian Studies, was one of two featured panelists to discuss Asian American activism 35 years after the death of Vincent Chin, a Chinese-American man who was beaten to death by two Detroit area men upset over unemployment and the struggling U.S. auto industry.
