Tutoring at the LAS Learning Centers
The Learning Centers provide free academic support by peer tutors and teaching assistants for all UIC students. Housed within LAS, the Learning Centers are committed to providing a welcoming environment for all UIC students of all ability levels to help them master their coursework in mathematics, the natural sciences, writing, and foreign languages.

I have used the MSLC so many times. My best advice to anyone heavily involved with science classes is to visit the MSLC whenever you get the chance. The MSLC really helps you because you get more one-on-one time with TAs and teachers, which allows them to give you all the information you need.
