UIC’s Physics Department’s research on quantum computing published in Science
The Department of Physics’ research on topological heavy-fermion materials was published in Science. The importance of this work lies in the development of a new technique that allows one to visualize spatial charge oscillations in strongly correlated and topological materials. These materials are of great importance for the implementation of topological quantum computing.
