UIC Receives $2 Million AANAPISI Grant
UIC received a five-year $2 million grant from the U.S. Department of Educations' AANAPISI (Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution) program to support several units on campus: the Academic Center for Excellence, the Writing Center, the Office of Special Scholarships Programs and the College of Education. The principle investigator of the project is LAS Asian American Studies Professor Kevin Kumashiro.
