Sociology Professor Barbara Risman in the News

In a blog post published by Psychology Today, Barbara Risman, UIC professor of sociology and LAS distinguished professor, co-authored a piece about gender equality and sexuality among baby boomers.

Risman joined Wisconsin Public Radio’s “The Morning Show” to discuss the significance of having a third gender option available on documents, such as drivers licenses and birth certificates, and who might want to choose the gender-neutral category. Listen here:
