Siva Sivananthan Recognized as ‘Outstanding American by Choice’
In addition to being honored as a 'Champion of Change' at the White House Champion of Change event, Siva Sivananthan, professor of physics, was recognized as an Outstanding American by Choice (ABC) by the Department of Homeland Security. The ABC initiative acknowledges naturalized U.S. citizens with outstanding civic and professional achievements. The recipients of this honor demonstrate a commitment to this country and to the common civic values that unite us as Americans.
