School Board Debate Continues
Dick Simpson, professor of political science, wrote an article for Skyline addressing the continuing debate over the wisdom of having an elected school board.
Simpson's stance in the article is that an elected school board stands as a way for parents and citizens of Chicago to show opposition to Mayor Rahm Emanuel.
