OutHistory Launches New Website
OutHistory, a website dedicated to documenting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) history, launched a redesigned website through the collaboration of John D'Emilio, professor of history and gender and women's studies, and Jonathan Ned Katz, creator and director of the site.
The revamped website offers a place for people to not only learn about LGBTQ history but also contribute to it. OutHistory tells stories about the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender past in the belief that knowing about this history can inspire people to action and help create a better future.
