New biomarker for ovarian cancer
Past and current UIC faculty members, including Stephanie Cologna and Laura Sanchez of Chemistry, recently published a study in the journal Molecular & Cellular Proteomics that identified a new biomarker for ovarian cancer. This could eventually lead to an effective and more accessible way to detect the disease!
