LAS Biology Professor to Speak on Sixth Century Scientists and Philosophers

The Greek Star is reporting that Nikos Varelas, UIC professor of physics, is set to give a talk regarding the traditions of Greek-Ionian sciences and philosophers of the sixth century BCE. Entitled, "Unveiling the Mysteries of our Universe," the event is presented by the Department of Classics and Mediterranean Studies.

The event will take place Wednesday, February 19, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the UIC Daley Library, room 1-470.
