Frietag Awarded NSF Postdoc to Berkeley
A UIC PhD student in the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science, Jim Frietag, was awarded an NSF post doc to Berkeley for the 2012-13 academic year. While at UIC, Frietag conducted research with mathematics, statistics, and computer science professor David Marker.
