Crabtree at Chicago Ideas Week
George Crabtree, UIC distinguished professor of physics, is among the University of Illinois faculty members who will be participating in panel discussions and performances as part of the 2012 Chicago Ideas Week in October.
Professor Crabtree is a physicist and a sustainability expert. He has led numerous workshops for the Department of Energy on a range of alternative energy sources and co-chairing the Undersecretary of Energy's assessment of DOE's Applied Energy Programs, in addition to his many other interests in material science.
