Through collaborations with community partners, engagement with policy makers, and connections with public audiences, UIC is at the forefront of public sociology and activist scholarship.
Join UIC Sociology for a day of panels, workshops, and collaborative knowledge building with scholars, journalists, community organizers, and UIC faculty. The conference will provide a forum to share findings, confront challenges, build skills, and envision the future of engaged scholarship.
