Knowing how to code and analyze data can open doors in the IT and financial industries, but more importantly, it will allow you to make a difference in people’s lives. Students who choose this major should be good at solving problems and like to think outside the box. Theories from mathematics and computer science are used to solve problems in business, medicine, and aerospace engineering, among other fields. After getting a degree in math and computer science, students are ready for a wide range of careers, including data analysis, software development, and more.
