The Learning Centers provide free academic support by peer tutors and teaching assistant for all UIC students. Housed within LAS, the Learning Centers are committed to providing a welcoming environment for all UIC students of all ability levels to helping them master their coursework in mathematics, the natural sciences, writing, and foreign languages.

I’ve liked science for as long as I can remember. Research is new to me and I want to do more. I am at the Math & Science Learning Center a lot. It’s a great place for support, to quietly work, and to get help from others with the same questions.
