Williams Receives Grant for Project Along Swahili Coast
Sloan Williams, an associate professor in the Department of Anthropology, received a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities for a project combining arachaeological excavaton, ethnohistory, and genetic analysis to study the origin and development of urban communities along the Swahili coast of East Africa.
