Dick Simpson, head of political science, was interviewed by 89 WLS for a story regarding the whereabouts of Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr, an the impact of his extended absence on his political career. A leading political reformer and former independent alderman, Simpson's advice to the congressman was to provide, at minimum, a basic indication of the reason behind his disappearance from public.
