LAS Recognized at “UIC:30 Years” Symposium
In the symposium "UIC: 30 Years" recognizing strides made by the university in the last 30 years in research and technology, Physics Professor Siva Sivananthan was one of the faculty honored at the event. His 1982 discovery regarding semi-conductors went on to be used in night vision apparatuses used by U.S. Military Special Forces.
