UIC Ranked 13th by 2014 Times Higher Education “100 Under 50” Report
The prestigious Times Higher Education 2014 "100 under 50" international ranking of the top 100 universities under 50 years old has just been released. The University of Illinois at Chicago is ranked 13th in the world, rising from number 19 in the 2013 guide. UIC is ranked third among U.S. universities and is one of only eight U.S. institutions on this list. The UK-based guide notes that criteria for the rankings are calibrated to reflect the "special characteristics of younger universities" and showcase the "rising stars which show great potential."
