An interview with Lawrence Officer, professor in the Department of Economics, was featured in a December 31, 2015 Chicago Tribune article entitled “Why Cheap Gas Won't Necessarily Mean Lower Prices at the Store.” The article discusses both the individual and overall economic benefits that lower gas price can potentially have on society.
