Praise for Distinguished Professor Sivananthan from Bolingbrook Mayor
Distinguished Professor Siva Sivananthan of the LAS Department of Physics has been recognized by the mayor of Bolingbrook, Illinois for his dedication to the community in which he lives and works. A recent recipient of the White House "Champion of Change" honor, Professor Sivananthan has worked to bring high levels of research and technology to the Bolingbrook area community.
Village Mayor Roger C. Claar continued, "When the White House awarded Dr. Siva Sivananthan with its prestigious Champion of Change award, they recognized him not only for his many academic and entrepreneurial achievements, they recognized someone who has generously given back to America and our community.
