Plotnick Elected Fellow of The Paleontological Society
Professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences Roy Plotnick was elected as a 2012 Fellow of The Paleontological Society. Fellows of The Paleontological Society, an international nonprofit devoted exclusively to the advancement of the science of paleontology, are members who have made significant contributions to paleontology through research, teaching or service to the profession, and who have compiled a substantial record of high quality work in the profession. Professor Plotnick's election as Fellow will be announced at the Annual Meeting and Awards Reception of the Paleontological Scoeity, in Charlotte, North Carolina on November 4, 2012.
