Passing of Allan Lerner
Allan Lerner, professor of political science, held many roles at the University of Illinois, including associate provost for international affairs, first dean of the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs and associate dean of the Graduate College. Professor Lerner passed away on September 4 from a long-term illness. He retired from the university last spring.
