New Race In America Survey Highlights ‘Racial Residential Segregation’
Newsweek quotes Maria Krysan, UIC professor and head of sociology, in a story about a Pew Research Center survey of Americans’ views of the country’s growing racial and ethnic diversity. Krysan, who is also with the Institute of Government and Public Affairs, addresses residential segregation as one of the factors that keep people from daily interaction across racial groups.
