Mary Ashley Named Woman of the Year
Mary Ashley, a professor in the Biological Sciences Department, was named UIC's Woman of the Year for the 2012-13 academic year.
The award is sponsored by The Chancellor's Committee on the Status of Weomen (CCSW). It honors a UIC woman who has consistently worked on woman's issues beyond the call of duty and who is an exemplary role model.
