Congratulations to Lorenzo Perillo, recipient of the ASTR Targeted Research Area Grant!
Lorenzo Perillo is one of the awardees of the American Society for Theatre Research's (ASTR) Targeted Research Area Grant in support of his project, “Postcolonial Choreographies: Empire, Racialized movement, and Hip-Hop.” The American Society for Theatre Research (ASTR) is a U.S.-based professional organization that fosters scholarship on worldwide theatre and performance, both historical and contemporary. The ASTR Targeted Research Area grant supports scholars working in under-represented areas important to the ASTR’s mission.
