LAS Alumni Elected to Chicago-Area School Board
The Chicago Tribune Local section reports that LAS alumni Linda Campos-Moreira has been voted to fill a vacancy on the Elgin Area School District U-46. Campos-Moreira will serve through the next school board election in April 2015.
The article goes on to note that Campos-Moreira earned her “Bachelor of Art in Applied Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and holds two masters degrees - one in social work and one in education - from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is working towards her doctorate in social work at UIC."
